First comes love....

(2001)Then comes marriage....
(2005)

And after 4 of these to confirm

coming to a Wallace household near you.....

is a baby!!! (I suppose it can be in a baby carriage so I can continue with the nursery rhyme)

About 2 months ago we found out we were pregnant!! It was kind of scary at first because when I went to my first dr's appt. they did an ultrasound and said it looked like it was an ectopic pregnancy. So for a week I had to go in every couple days so they could check my blood and then they confirmed that my blood levels were going up the way they should and that everything was fine. So it was a short lived scare, thank goodness. My first official dr's appt. to find out everything isn't until March 13th so I don't even know when I am due or really how far along I am. I am pretty sure I am about 2 months, give or take a week or so. I am so excited for my appointment! Elliot is really excited too which is totally adorable. So far I haven't been too sick or anything. I get pretty nauseous when I get too hungry but I can usually avoid that as long as I keep something in my stomach most of the day. One thing that has changed is that I can't stand the taste, smell or thought of any kind of meat, especially chicken. Yuck. My gag reflex is acting up now just typing about it. It is kind of an adventure with food right now. One day something will taste sooooooo good and the next day I am disgusted by the thought of that food. Very odd. Last week I couldn't get enough grilled cheese sandwiches and this week cheese does not sound appetizing. Taco Bell sounds pretty good. Yumm. Bean burrito with mild sauce. And I can't get enough veggie deli sub sandwiches. I had one for lunch yesterday and then dinner and again at lunch today and I asked Elliot a few minutes ago if we could get one for dinner and he gave me a weird look so I am not sure if that means yes or not. I'll have to play up the pregnancy card on this one. :)

YAY a baby!! Not that I didn't know for like the last 10 weeks or whatever. Man, I'm so glad I don't have to be a surrogate, what was I thinking signing that document in blood saying I'd give you a baby...we sign some crazy stuff in middle school.

Yay! Congrats! That's funny about the no meat stuff, I'm sure your cravings and aversions will keep changing though. I'm glad you aren't feeling too sick! Aversions and cravings over illness seems like a good trade. I guess you can bush up on your health food recipies that call for alternative sources of protien like beans and stuff. So exciting, keep us posted!!

Congrats guys!! I am jealous. Sort of. I don't want a baby, but I would kill to be preggers. I never got sick, so hopefully you will be equally blessed. But then again, I wanted to eat everything in site and nothing sounded gross. Which is why I gained 40 pounds with Linley. This I would not suggest. I am so excited for my babies to finally start getting some cousins!!!

Anyhow, yay you guys!

You have to start them before you really start to show or else you don't feel skinny when you're 9 months prego. You look at your 6 weeks pregnant shot and think, I was that skinny? Dang I looked gooooood. Belly shots!
